Patience is a virtue!

Funny how we seem to know phrases and understand them only during moments when they are inapplicable; however, when the time eventually comes to live out these phrases, all understanding goes racing out of the window as the words lose their coherence and the sentence which initially implied wisdom no longer makes sense.

The patient dog eats the fattest bone– heck, that dog wasn’t hungry because if it was, then it wouldn’t wait!

It’s not easy being patient when you desire something(or someone) and you desire it now!!!

This desire becomes a burning flame that scorches your insides, that threatens your stability and makes you question everything.

But when you wait, when you allow the flame extinguish (though your insides become charred), when you resist the urge to take whatever is thrown your way and wait patiently for the better option whilst adopting a positive attitude throughout, then you will experience and appreciate the virtuousness of patience!
